As a Californian visiting Texas, one of the first things on my agenda was to get some boots because every time I have come out here I always never get to it. Thus my google search took me to this Cavenders and the minute I walked in the door I knew I would find what I needed. My struggle with shoe shopping in any state is that I wear a size 11 so its hard to find cute shoes of any sort in a size that fits. Best place in Texas to get all your western clothing needs. The staff was knowledgable and helpful in navigating through the AMAZING selection of boots, the pros and cons of different styles and what I needed for what I was going to do with them. I've had my boots for a couple weeks now and they are quickly becoming my GO TO shoes for almost every activity.

This place is new boot heaven! Plus, they have a large selection of western clothes and accessories. The employees are friendly, helpful, and bountiful - you won't have a problem finding someone to help you out. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR RODEO OUTFITS - LOOK NO FURTHER!

Loved it! I was in Cowboy Boot heaven. Why oh why did I have to be so broke when I was visiting Houston?? Because there sure were some cute boots. This place was huge, the staff were friendly, and the selection was jaw dropping. Not to mention, they had some pretty cute clothes and accessories. Good thing they have a website, I might have to use it!

When rodeo season comes around these guys are your one stop spot for all of your needs. I wanted some boots, but I had no idea where to begin. Their staff was very helpful. Started out with sizes...Boot sizes vs tennis shoes are very different. I ended up with a 9 1/2 in boot sizes opposed to my 10 1/2 in tennis shoes. Their staff explained to me that it needs to fit in certain areas and other areas will stretch out. This Cavender's location always has a great selection. I've stopped during Rodeo to purchase new hats and boots, but I have also come here for Christmas shopping (so Santa can buy my boots), and the selection is still great. Last holiday season I came here with the intent to buy some cowboy boots with some turquoise on them. I found ONE pair of turquoise leopard Old Gringo's marked down almost 60%! Don't wait 'til Rodeo Season to buy yer boots! Cavender's is always crazy packed 'round that time; trust me. I made a pit stop the other day to check out their belts, buckles and - had I more time - the boots. During my short visit, I was luck enough to have the full-on assistance of young male employee. My "personal shopper," as I liked to say. Made another trip to this location. After wandering for only a few minutes up and down the isles, a very friendly associate once again appeared. I explained what I wanted and within minutes the associate found exactly the pair of boots I was looking for. If you are ever in the market for boots or just good service, this is definitely the place to be.
