On visiting, over 60 miles away, I always get a friendly welcome. I find the staff helpful and very pleasant. The overall care home is the best I have ever visited. The appearance being more like a hotel.

All the staff including catering, and house management presented as highly professional, very friendly, and caring. We couldn't thank all the staff enough for the support and kindness they demonstrated to myself, my sister and our Mother. The support received and the dignified way her passing was managed helped is enormously. The facilities were excellent and the staff are a credit to the company. We are pleased we chose Cedar Mews, and we would recommend it every time.

The care home is always open to families and they are very enthusiastic about family participation and as such it is always a great way to build relationships with the care staff members. Take this May for example where a boat trip was arranged where family members could attend, which I gladly did, not only was it a fantastic day for all the residents but I also had some great memories and photos from the day for me to cherish. The communication with regards to my mother is always on point and I have advised them to phone me... read more

Lovely home with excellent staff in every area - carers are fantastic. The activities on offer are imaginative and varied; there are lots of outings too. My mum enjoyed her time there - about 20 months. Food is good. When it came to my mum's last few days, the care of both the family and my mum couldn't have been better. Lovely empathetic staff. Good communication on the whole as well.

I'd like to start with a wholehearted and heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Cedar Mews. They're a truly lovely bunch of people who treat residents like friends and family. Mum was looked after so well from the moment she moved in and each time we visited we left knowing she was safe and happy. Her health and well-being improved while she was there which is a testament to the staff and the high level of care she received. Special thanks must go to the wonderful Dementia Care Manager who went above and beyond, as well as... read more

Our family are absolutely delighted with the care that she is receiving at Cedar Mews. Cedar Mews has a very experienced and capable staffing team, who are able to care for her dementia and Alzheimer's to the highest standards. All care homes have individual care plans, but we, the family, feel that at Cedar Mews, it is very professionally considered and delivered to cater for her complex personal needs. As she is very physically fit, the team have amended the care plans to adapt to her changing behaviours. Cedar Mews has a ... read more

Mum was only in Cedar Mews from October until her death in December. She was so settled and happy, however, during that time. It was lovely to see staff were always welcome and handled the death with kindness and sensitivity at the same time as being thoroughly professional. I always felt able to speak with them i.e. any concerns.

Mum joined Cedar Mews for end-of-life care in September 2023. We took Mum for her consultation with a consultant, he couldn't believe the difference in Mum. He said:" It's a sign of a very good care home that your mum has done so well. It's a sign she's looked after extremely well, takes medication, is eating well and looked so much better." I have to thank all of the managers and the staff for being so caring and keeping Mum so well.

The greatest asset a company can have is its staff. Well in Cedar Mews this asset is worth its weight in gold. Cedar Mews staff and management are very friendly, extremely patient, efficient and kind. I cannot emphasise enough how excellent all the staff and management are. I am so lucky to have found (and looked at quite a few) a home that took such great care of my mum and that my mum has settled in so well.
