Screen repair was supposed to be done April 5th. The technician came out on time but quickly realized he couldn’t repair the screen because they didn’t tell him it was a retractable screen. Do they not have records of what was purchased?? On April 7th the windows in my French doors were shattered. I call them to get the repair order underway. I don’t hear anything for a week. Horrible experience. The contract I signed was for over $12K. Champion was to install 9 WORKING windows and 1 storm door. One of the windows they installed did not lock properly. They sent a technician who agreed. He tried to fix it, banged it around a bit. He couldn't fix it, had to come back out. After he left, we saw a small crack in the center of the window. Buyer beware. We ordered full home replacement windows in Early June 2021 with an 8 to 10 wk lead time. What Champion doesn’t tell you is if you have ordered ANYTHING “extra” in our case a Garden Window but could be a storm door etc. they will delay the ENTIRE install for that 1 item. This meant for us a 3 week delay. There was absolutely NO communication to us when it was time for the install and throughout our entire experience we were always having to contact Champion. Update 9-30 original install was on June 25 Still waiting for them and I have talk to several different people at their company and they tell me they’re gonna talk to plant and call me back. They can’t even have the courtesy to call me back to give me updates. Horrible customer service and company!!!!! Been waiting for a frosted window that's about 3'x3' for over since June 25. First I’ll start off with the sales men. I get a phone call from him before my appointment to let me know that he sales man that was supposed to come out had a family emergency so they the new sales man will be coming out and he is supposedly a manager. Then while he’s selling you the windows and door Let’s you know he can add it to an industrial order to make it less expensive if you can wait 12-14 weeks for install. In early May 2019 we signed a contract with Champion to replace the large leaking greenhouse window in our kitchen. Due to the nature of the design, the company representative told us the project would be assigned to the sunroom department rather than the window department. We gave him a sizable down payment and, based on the terms of the contract, felt certain that it would be installed before cold weather arrived that fall. This is a horrible company to deal with and their people are extremely unprofessional and outright rude. After attempting to do business with them, it became clear they do not treat people the way they would want their own parents to be treated. When trying to work out a solution to problems, they hold others to different standards than they hold for themselves. We had a Champion sales representative out on Saturday, 10/24/20. We set our appointment to measure the windows today. During the measuring of the windows it was discovered our sales rep didn't count one of the windows, this was after double checking his work, we were also informed that our sliding glass patio door is supposedly a custom order door. I just experienced the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. It all started with Champion Windows salesperson giving me a quote. We were negating back and forth and agreed on a price. I then received a phone call indicating that Champion Windows could not honor that price we agreed on and he would have to raise the price.
