I do not recommend Champion Windows because of their poor installation and quality of materials. They do not follow up with their installations. I have been working for ten years to get two windows replaced that they installed.

Unfortunately, there was a lack of communication between departments, which caused all of our problems. The initial product failure could have been avoided if the Sales Rep had paid attention to where the entry door was being installed. Also, the installer would not have had to go back to the warehouse if our order had been checked before he came to our house. The installer's work was excellent & we'll request him in the future.

The experience of having the sliding door installed was very disappointing. It seemed to be the technician's first time installing this type of door. It took two deliveries to get the correct door and a frame that would fit. The final door was scratched in several places that were painted over. The door slides like it is very heavy, the lock is tough to turn, and it is almost impossible to use the key to unlock. The installation took eight hours (double the time). I spent $10,000 at Champion Windows and I never received a thank you note or anything like that from the salesman. As a businessman I understand that you need to thank someone for parting with their money, even if it's a $50 job. We were not thanked. I'm not looking for anything big, but just a little appreciation would be nice.

We've had two experience with Champion and they have fallen short on both. The first installation we did with them, our siding, was not up to par with what they say is their standard of customer service. With the second installation, our windows, the quality wasn't that good at best, and at worst was horrible. The scheduling and quality assurance is terrible.
