Every since the Bedford store closed, this company has gone downhill fast. Huge turnover in staff and managers, and they all just blame poor service on prior management. I've had three seperate runs of installs of windows and each has been more problematic than the last. Windows and screens not ordered properly, takes a months to get corrected, noone knows where parts are or when installs can get done, you leave voicemails with 2-3day returns (if any). We had great expectations because of the Champion name and reviews. However we such a lack of communication from office and staff, we are not sure if we would use them again
The windows are great, but I had no idea the tan caulk would get onto my white wallpaper, nor did I know the removal of the old windows would cause the scraping damage to the windowsills. However, the gentlemen who came out the next day told me those problems are "normal", so I will have to paint the windowsills & the white wallpaper can't be repaired. They installers also left a large "oil" stain in the middle of our driveway from their truck being parked in the driveway while they were installing the windows.
9-30-14 Ty Hepler came to introduce himself as the foreman on the job and do a paint test. He said it would be 6 weeks before they could start the job. 11-6-14 I received a call from a man with a very thick accent who said that he was an engineer and he needed to survey the area where the cover was going. I had no warning from Champion that he was going to call, so I had to call Ty to confirm that the engineer was indeed who he said he was. They unprofessional. They did not call me. I paid them one month and it took them three to get started. I had to call them. The electrician was terrible.
I am not likely to recommend a friend to Champion Windows of Ft. Worth to a friend.
The sales staff is not what it should be. The management has a problem.
