This is a nice for good care. the staff is good and caring. The rooms and the grounds are clean and well kept to enjoy. They do have activities for those who would want to be active. I would recommend this community for others to received great care.

Morningside of Newport News is a great place. They were were friendly and helpful when I was searching for a facility. the staff is warm and friendly. Everyone genuinely cares about the residents. The food is awesome and they always have choices of what to eat. The facility is warm,inviting and always clean. Plenty of activities and fun things to keep the residents occupied. Mom loves her new home.

We had a couple glitches moving in, but the people working there are stellar! My mom finally has all the assistance she needs cheerfully given with care. The food is good and there is plenty of it including 4 snacks brought out to the rooms a day. To avoid misunderstandings, pay attention when given a walk through and repeat back what is told to you to be sure you understood correctly. Take notes. This is a truly caring facility

Very favorable impression. Nice facility, seems they will get the care they will need. Residents seemed content. Looks like a lot of activities. Only concern is price. We're scheduling an assessment to see what their actual needs are and pricing will be determined after the assessment. This is at the top of our list for now.

So far, so good! My Step-Dad transferred here from a retirement community as he needed that extra level of care. We like that there are 6 care levels and an RN does the assessment to determine which level is needed. That way you pay only for the extra services you need. And after 30 days, there will be another evaluation to determine if changes may be needed. He has been here just a week. Already he is loving the attention level. My loved one seems really happy here. They provide great service here, and for an affordable price. It's a nice looking, clean place, and it has a nice comfortable atmosphere. It feels more like a home, and not a hospital like some nursing homes do. The staff are all friendly, and they provide lots of activities to keep people out of bed and active.

My Mother has been at Morningside since just before Thanksgiving. The care there is very good with friendly staff. The facility is very clean and well furnished. You can make your room "your own" with your own furnishings and little touches. I would recommend Morningside to anyone looking for senior care.

One or two were professional and concerned about the patients. Others not performing their positions to a standard. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. The people that are living there now are complaining.
