LOVE it. Best pizza you can get in elgin. and I just tried their wings today, on par with the best i've ever had. i highly recommend it here!
I've been ordering from CPA for years! Everything I've had has been delicious. My favorite is the fetticini alfredo with chicken. I also love the potato skins.
I decided to drive around Elgin to find a new place to eat... after about an hour of only seeing bars and typical fast food joints I ran into Chicago Pizza Authority. I almost missed it too. I was driving by and one of those strip mall "menus" I saw the word "Pizza" so I turned in. I drove along the strip and glanced at a store that I thought said "Chicago Sports Authority." Oops. On the way out I looked again and realized it said Pizza. I ended up going for the very inexpensive buffet. The pizza itself was alright, nothin... read more
Pizzas are pretty good, they also have dine in decorated with a funky seventies trailer park kind of look. The deal is their buffet of pizza, beef sandwiches, fried fish, salad, etc.. Its setup well and pretty well maintained. Saff has always been friendly. Worth a try
Sad to be leaving a review like this. I try very hard to be positive...I used to love this place...sadly something has changed. About a month ago I ordered three meals from them. When I called I was very disappointed to hear they discontinued my staple, The Grinder on garlic toast. Oh well...I am flexible... I was exited about the chicken parmesan sandwich in garlic toast, we also ordered a chicken Alfredo, Italian beef and fries. To start with my chicken parmesan WAS NOT on garlic toast (which I paid extra for) the chicken ... read more
This is now Rosatis. Still using the name to keep the customers they've always had. No longer family owned and the pizza and food show it. Pizza ingredients extremely skimpy, most food has now been removed from menu and overpriced for what you get. After 34 years of enjoying the best pizza in town, sadly we are looking elsewhere. It's just not Chicago Pizza Authority any longer.
Woulda gave em 5 stars because their pizza is awesome, but idk if the owner knows that his employees do not answer the phone purposely. I live 5 mins from the place but decided to order delivery. The phone Rang and rang .. I called a good 4 times before i decided to just go in .. and sure enough they were open and the person was just not feeling like answering the phone. Mind u , I was calling even while walking in. I was so pissed and I told him if he's aware that people are trying to call. He just said oh I was in the back... read more
Every time you call this place either no one picks up or you're on hold for 10 plus minutes, if no one wants to take orders at 9pm then switch hours to 9pm or earlier.
ordered pizza for pickup & the girl up front gave the pizza away to someone else but proceeded to ask us "how do I know it's you picking up the right pizza" but when we responded with "well how did you verify the person you gave the pizza to?" she didn't have a response lol
