Trying to get an appointment is very difficult. I myself is the healthcare provider so I understand that the clinic is busy and Dr has many patients to see. The person front desk and the nurse keep telling us that we are nOt due to see the annual check up for my kid so we shouldn't be making an appointment. Not a fan of this place. We were told from the first visit that supplementing formula was an option after my baby lost one pound they are not breastfeeding friendly at all. If I listened and gave up my child wouldn't be breastfeeding. They also give ultimatums when it comes to flexible vaccine schedules by pinning you to a wall and forcing you to vaccinate by six weeks or else go elsewhere as previously stated to me in the past. Don't go here. Their front office staff is incompetent; they schedule wrong times and when they call, they confirm different times. When you show up, they refuse to see you, even though it's idiots who work here gave you the wrong information. Go somewhere else. They are open on weekends but it's impossible to get an appointment. When you call after hours, it's answered by a nurse in 45 min. They are just great for lip service and collect your money with a smile.

Dr. Kim is our pediatrician, and she has always been phenomenal. She deserves the only star. When Dr. Kim was fully booked, or not in, and we had to see Dr. Bangs. The first time we saw Dr. Bangs, my son was coughing a ton, with a high fever. My son had a history of ear infections, and the doctors would usually prescribe him an antibiotic as most of his coughs/fevers eventually become an ear infection. Waiting time: We needed to wait nearly 45 minutes at first visit. And we waited more than 1 hour last time. Then we are at the waiting room for 40 minutes now. I don't know how they schedule pt appointment but the front office has poor estimate for scheduling. Billing: They did eye exam on my daughter just using a paper on wall. Then they charged $50 for comprehensive eye exam. They even didn't explain it's cost $50 before the exam. We have our last 3 visits and the doctor has been great as well as the nurses. Until today, our third visit that we have faced major issue that has raised a concern to us - the male nurse who came weigh our 6 day old son and take his blood for jaundice level, was rough and did not create "the gentle and compassionate environment" at all. I had great experience with costal kids Irvine for the past 4 visits. Dr.lee , Dr. Kim and most staff were very professional and kind. However, during the most recent visit I might have met the worst nurse in California . I think her name is Mayra. She never smiled and kept frowning during the entire process.
