I wish I liked this office a lot more but unfortunately did not have a great experience. We took our son here for his first pediatrician appointments at 2 days, 4 days and 2 weeks old and saw the nurse practitioner, Kim. She seemed so rushed at every appointment. My son had complications with his circumcision and his umbilical cord and we received no guidance as to proper care or issues to watch for. I love Dr Kornu and Dr Bui. They are both very patient and informative. The office staff is very rude though. The front desk sounded annoyed at a sick call this morning and said all of the offices are full today. I understand if it's busy but it's not my first call, they told me I would be seen after 24 hours when I talked to the nurse on Tuesday. If you are working in a pediatric office then you should expect phone calls from sick patients. If you don't like your job get a new one. I have a 5month old and infants should b... read more

I'd give the doctors 5 stars but dealing with the office is an absolute nightmare. Unfriendly, disorganized and a total waist of time. Be prepared to consistently wait a hour for your apt. This is not a covid problem they just don't know how to run an office on time or anything in the vicinity of on time.

I always call and it says I'm in 4th place jn the queue and then 30 minutes later it moves me back to 10th at which point someone picks up and hangs up. I call back and wait another hour and it says I'm next in queue and an answering service picks up who can't do anything and tells me to call back in 20 minutes.

Been using coastal kids since our daughter was born. Had an extremely horrible experience with front desk staff. Wife had a change in plan recently and didn't have the insurance card, but got the insurance ID number. Front staff did not accept it and kept telling us to reschedule. So she called the insurance while waiting and staff told her that she only has a 15 minute grace period! She took time off work, had the correct information and was still not being seen! The doctors were nice enough but they never really seemed to have space to see my kids when they were sick. I ended up needing to take my 4 year old to the emergency room for symptoms of a UTI where she was prescribed standard antibiotics but exposed to all kind of other things during COVID. This was fall of 2020. I ended up with a $1,000 bill which was totally unnecessary.... Very disappointed with this office.

My son has been seen at coastal kids for years and it's been always good. However, this morning I tried to call them to make an appointment for an annual check up for my son, I got hung up Three Times!!! The first time I heard a woman on the end said "can I hang up?" And she did. I thought she made a mistake. So I called back right away and got hung up. I thought maybe some kids there made a joke??? So I called again right away and was hung up immediately. I want to start this by saying that my review is not for the doctors, every doctor we've ever seen here has been wonderful and was the only reason we continued to come back. But I gotta say their front office and nursing/medical assistants staff leave a lot to be desired in terms of attitudes and customer service towards patients. Looks like it wasn't just me. Scheduled an appointment at 3:45. I got there at 3:40 and no other patient was waiting. By 4:15, 3 patients who came after me got in. We were still patiently waiting but no word from the front desk. I asked, what is the reason for this long wait? (it wasn't busy at all) and the lady says that my appointment is 4:15... ??? I was able to see the doctor at 4:40 after a couple more patients who came 40 minutes after me got in ahead of me. Very rude and disorganized staff.
