Best choice ever. As new parents, we didn't get to consult with other pediatric clinics as planned because Coastal Kids left us with more information then we asked for, and the overall visit left a really positive feeling that we felt like there was no need to check out other places. If my review was based off of staff alone it would be a 5, they are great. But heaven forbid you need a same day appointment. My son is currently on his third day of a tummy bug and he seemed to be getting better so I didn't call right when they opened so I couldn't get in today. He's now throwing up again and I'm faced with urgent care and keeping him in a waiting room for hours with other kids who could get him more sick, the ER and a large copay and a long waiting room wait for what could be nothing or waiting it out and ... read more

I give Coastal Kids a 4 because we adore Dr. Bui. Dr. Bui is caring and attentive. She never seems like she's in a rush to be anywhere, but in the moment answering all the questions and concerns we have as first time parents. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a pediatrician. One time we had to see another pediatrician from the same practice because Dr. Bui wasn't available and they not only misdiagnosed my baby's diaper rash to be eczema, but they were very dismissive and detached...maybe because my app... read more
Coastal Kids is amazing. I would highly recommend them for any parent in south Orange County. The front desk is very nice and they have always been able to get me in when I needed an appointment. Dr. Brown is the absolute best. She really takes the time to listen and takes my concerns seriously! Being a first time mom, I have MANY! I have only had wonderful experiences with Coastal Kids and their entire stuff. Plus, the office is beautiful. It's a nice change from the usual cheesy pediatrician office decor.
Dr. Kornu is amazing to say the least! My daughter was terrified of all doctors, but as soon as we switched to Coastal Kids she is no longer afraid. She's currently 2. Dr. Kornu spends time with us, our visits never feel rushed. Great bedside manners. Our son is also a patient here since birth and she's amazing with him as well. The referrals are submitted when you're told they will and Dr. Kornu calls you when she says she will. We love going to Coastal Kids! We see Dr Kim but I interviewed Dr Bui as well and liked her too. We went with dr Kim because she was there the days we could go (not because anything was wrong with dr bui). I highly recommend them. The staff is super kind and caring. I'm a new mom and I ask all kinds of questions and they never seem annoyed, I would even say they encourage the questions. I only wish they could be my dr too! :)

Overall have had much better experiences since our first visit. Staff has been great and we love our Dr. Kornu. I haven't seen the lady who originally gave us the paperwork.

I LOVE this office. I have 3 kids and have been coming to Dr. Abelowitz and his team for 18 years. The care is outstanding and the staff is always so supportive. This is a top notch pediatric practice!
We love Costal Kids! As first time parents, we were looking for a pediatric office where we would receive extra attention and care for our child. Costal Kids physicians and nurses go above and beyond! The are so kind and go out of their way to accommodate your every need and any emergency appointment. Debbie is phenomenal and our daughter loves her so much! They are always on time and so throughout. Bonus: they are open on the weekends! Love, love, love Costal Kids!
