Disaster from a paperwork standpoint. They didn't submit a treatment plan to my insurance company for all the work they wanted to do to our daughter. I called my insurance company Northeast Delta Dental and they told me Concord Pediatric should have submitted a treatment plan this large to Delta Dental weeks before because it was so complicated. These people had me show up not once, but twice and rescheduled my daughter both times, missing school in the process. Bet they billed my insurance though... I will be switching dentists. Very unimpressed!
I would not recommend this office to anyone. They quoted me $6000+ for work over 4 appointments. Because it was such a large amount I decided to get 2 separate second opinions. The first office we went to wasn’t a pediatric dentist - wanted a completely honest opinion with them knowing they weren’t doing any of the work. . They made an appointment for my son, showed up with my husband but he wasn’t allowed his procedure because he needed medical clearance from his doctor. They waited until his appointment to say something. The staff was rude to my husband on a different occasion. They didn’t inform or supply paperwork for my husband to bring my son to his appointment. I wouldn't let Dr. Achong touch my dog let alone my child. His complete lack of care and compassion is incredible, considering he is supposed to be specially trained to deal with children. He not only managed to terrify my 2 year old but he also made him bleed after poking him with a dental tool. He quickly blamed the blood on dry lips even though I watched it happen. Very insulting staff, don't state your concerns for your children or you will be dropped as patients. Unprofessional and so disappointing considering their reviews and the fact that I personally referred patients here for over a decade. They have no patience for parents who are worried about the safety of their children. Very sad and would definitely recommend going anywhere else.
