James Wood mansplained and talked at me. As someone who it takes a lot to go see a Dr, it was disheartening to not be listened to and talked through options.

Doctor was very dismissive and just told me to go to the ER. Didn’t interpret my results from urine test at all. Didn’t seem to care. They know I have gestational diabetes and didn’t mention the danger of my ketone level being 5. I feel like he should’ve given immediate advice besides “can’t help ya, go to the er”. Nurse was great.

It says walk ins are welcome, but a 2 hour thirty minute wait is a bit ridiculous. Need more staff to handle patients. Doctor was great, just disappointed in the wait and will choose other providers in the future

I am almost certain that I have epidimitis, caused by clymidia, I think. I have extreme pain in my testicles and some abdominal pain. The doctor knew I was in extreme pain and did not prescribe anything. He referred me to the ER and now I am nearly in tears from the pain and I am waiting in the ER.

Informative immediately assistance. However it was difficult to register. Feeling weak and with headache the registration required taking my own photos of insurance card and drivers license. Once the cards were added. I was required to fill in the policy number and license in a different section. In other urgent care facilities I just handed the cards to a receptionist to make copies and took my information and placed it into the registration detail. Please consider a change in the process for those who are too sick to do th... read more

The PA who saw me talked to me like I was a child. He determined I was not a fit for paxlovid based on minimal questions and cited a study in Israel that says it doesn’t work. As a woman, I’m used to being brushed off in medicine but this should change. I heard the same PA the room over tell an elderly woman that “maybe it was her subconscious” regarding her health issue. I have an elevated crp, several vitamin deficiencies, and a high bmi. Each of those factors have studies citing worse outcomes from Covid. It’s just disapp... read more

I went to Beaumont Urgent care on Lake Orion. They turned me away stating they only provide care to patients that are having surgery at Troy Beaumont. So the following day a had to drive down to Royal Oak and wait over an 1-1/2 hours to get a pre-op COVID test completed. VERY very inconvenient.

Came to this location because of proximity. Went to Grosse Point Farms location Friday night with a throat issue; infected tonsils. This happens at least once or twice every year. I followed up on Tuesday at Royal Oak because I had actually gotten much worse, despite the antibiotics given. I was told since my strep was neg and the antibiotics weren't working, I could stop taking them. She offered a COVID test and nothing further. I KNOW I do t have COVID because I've been doing this my entire adult life. Your doctor didn't e... read more
