Get directionsI’m leaving this review confidentially because my grandmother used to work in public service years ago. That said, I want to share our experience when I looked at the Cottages. I had heard the the care has always been good and I could see that for myself. The staff was genuinely loving, the caregivers knew the residents by name so well. It isn't overly fancy but really, really nice. Right now, there are renovations underway and getting new roofs, painting, and pressure washing. There was landscaping being installed, so prett... read more
We’ve seen a complete transformation at this community under the new management, and it’s been nothing short of incredible. The activities program has exploded. There’s now a daily schedule full of things to do, yesterday my aunt led karaoke and they recently launched a volunteer program that’s so great. Two amazing high school students come every single day, bringing fun and fresh energy to the residents. We’ve also been told that many more are being recruited! They’re even taking residents out on regular excursions and hos... read more
The facility was recently sold and there is all new management and a new chef. Quality of the meals and snacks under the new chef are well improved. They have an activities staff that works with the residents playing games, music, etc. The aides in each Cottage know the residents and take very good care of each individual from assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, getting around when assistance walking or wheeling is required. The Cottages and resident rooms are kept clean and tidy. The garden areas are nice with plenty... read more
Mom is very happy at Pacifica Senior Living. She likes her room, the food, the staff and activities. I gave 4 on quality of care because Mom has lymphatic issues with her lower legs and feet and they don't always put the compression socks on. Once this issue is under control I would go to 5 on quality of care. It is very much like home. Each compound contains 2 cottages. The residents are able to move around side in a very nice shady green space or sit outside on the veranda. Each compound is gated with an electronic key pad... read more
Pacifica Senior Living Palm Beach was fine for my mother in law, because she had dementia and was content to just sit and stare and occasionally talk to someone. The aides were nice to her. She really couldn't participate in the activities and I'm not sure that they had many. I don't know how the other cottages are if you are more mentally with it.
For 9+ years I was full time caregiver as she progressed through dementia. Married 45 years, I was determined to find "the right fit" fir her as I visited over 10 facilities. They all had curb appeal. but at Pacifica I found a stable, tight knit staff, 7 separate cottages each devoted to memory care, and a unique concern for resident well being. <3
My loved one is currently a resident at Pacifica Senior Living Palm Beach and everything has been great for her at this facility so far! The staff are friendly and professional. The housekeeping is very good. Communication with the family has been very good. The move in process was easy. The meals are very good. The care services and value for cost are great. I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Palm Beach to others.
My mom has been going everyday to see my father. She is always aware of how he is doing. She is always checking up his day to day needs. I would tell others that you need to always communicate with staff and be present to see for yourself. Based off of our experience, I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Palm Beach to those looking for memory care for a loved one.
Minor issues were that they tried to feed a ham sandwich to my Jewish mother and did not know that pork and ham are the same thing. Also we were billed for medication that we specifically told them her insurance would not cover. Minimal activities were provided based on the condition that my mom was in. Everything else was very good.
