We had a good, positive tour at Pacifica Palm Beach. It was a very nice facility, and was something we were considering. However, it was cost prohibitive for us in terms of the community fee.

In making our decision to place our mom in a memory care we toured a lot of communities. Pacifica Palm Beach was so different from everything else we seen. The community is homelike and I love the gated courtyard area where the residents can go outside through out the day. The administration team has been so amazing and helpful throughout the whole process. They make you feel like part of the family.

I have mixed fallings about the community. The nursing care is good, I think the CNA care is fair. My loved one complains about the food. The activities director is very nice and kind. There are bingo, arts and crafts, and more are available for the residents to choose from for activities. The staff encourages resident participation in activities.

My mother has been here for a few months. She seems content, clean, and well fed. I am not happy with the lack of social activities, she is always in the same spot when I visit and there has been no communication from the staff. I started hospice care and those staff are in constant communication with me. But nothing from the community itself, I do not know any of the staff members.

My brother has lived at a few different communities over the years. This experience has been our best. When I have any issues or concerns they are always dealt with immediately. The management team are great at communicating with me everything that’s is going on with my brother. I love that there are alternatives to the menu in case he doesn’t want what is served. I love that they include many musical activities as music is my brother’s passion.

Pacifica Senior living Palm Beach has been such a great experience for my family. I love that if my grandpa doesn't like a certain kind of food they have alternatives that they offer him. He is such a picky eater, I was surprised how much he enjoys the meals. My grandpa used to be an avid golfer and although that is a bit out of his league now he enjoys the mini golf activity they do with him. Making the decision to move my mother in law into a community was an extremely difficult one. However, the staff here at Pacifica Palm Beach have done their best to walk me through the process and help me with the stress of making this decision. The cottages are unique and cozy. They have lots of activities for her to choose from. Lovely community liked the cottage set up. The sales director [name removed] was very nice and knowledgeable. The residents looked happy and engaged in activities.

The community is a cottage stile, which makes it feel less institutional. There is also no carpeting, which helps prevent odors. The staff is good, however the nurse line was a little hard to reach some one with to check on our mother-in-law. They did a good job with caring for her during her short stay. The food looked fine. Brookdale did seem to be a good value especially considering the level of care that my mother-in-law needed.
