The portions were so sad on the granpGrandpa's Country Fried Breakfast I tossed my Grandma's Sampler Pancake Breakfast pancakes in the trash. The batter in the middle was gross.
I only gave one star because I had too. we ordered Biscuits n' Gravy with Bacon or Sausage and received no gravy!!!!. Door Dash offered a refund of less than 3 dollars. The Gravy is a big part of the meal. Call and spoke with a manager named David, his responds was he could put us on the books for a free meal or come and get the gravy. We asked for a discount or refund for the meal and we were told to contact door dash.
Half of the Shrimp in my shrimp and grits were still raw. I Don't normally complain, but shrimp is easy cook, just pan sear on each side for 1 minute and a half on each side. Please watch what you put out. Thank you.
They put minimal effort in the Loaded Hashbrown Casserole plus my Mashed Potatoes with Sawmill Gravy was missing the mashed potatoes, all I got was gravy.
Food was good but I ordered the chicken fried chicken with white gravy, and mashed potatoes with white gravy and got no gravy on either. That was disappointing.
So many items are missing. it's really a shame that you can't just order food for a fair price and expect decent service. I think the workers today lack pride. it's a shame.
Disapponted! Brown gravy was like water and didn't taste good, ordered Freshly Brewed Sweet Iced Tea (Half Gallon) and ended up with what I think is their Christmas tea maybe Sugarplum(?) and is not good to me, didn't get the biscuits I ordered and the mashed potatoes are hard and stiff. Not a good experience.
Ordered the Homestyle Sampler. My eggs were suppose to be over medium to well done. They were cooked over easy and runny. Yuck!!. The very small piece of ham was old and tasted bad. I called Cracker Barrel about the eggs, because I paid a lot for this meal, and Matt the manager said to have Door Dash make you some new eggs. Seriously! Basically he didn't care. My other items weren't bad, however, I will never order from this business again.
Dasher isnt allowed to open the order to check it, so it's Cracker Barrels responsibility to make sure everything is there and correct. Wrong items, missing items... plus some of what we got was nasty
