The food was fine, though the fried okra had too much breading on it. Most everything was reasonably priced aside from the gift shop items. A snowglobe with lights in it costs $159.00. That's obscene.
Great place to grab a quick homemade meal. Food comes out in timely manner too. Zero complaints
I was excited for this home style cafe! The decor is fun. They seemed to have quite a few servers but may be not enough kitchen staff? I wanted breakfast so I ordered the grandma's sampler, which includes a slice of bacon, a sausage patty, a piece of ham, 2 eggs, hashbrowns and pancakes. One kid got the hamburger sliders with fries. The fries were his favorite. The other ordered the fruity pancakes with bacon, but didn't like the pancakes.. is a bit picky. Ordered cod fillet for fish Friday with two sides Fish was over cooked hard no moisture to the meat and the breading was not to my liking. The seasoned rice was hard. I was asked how was the meal I resistantly stated my thoughts the waitress said she would make something else I said no I would eat what I ordered, but she insisted so I ordered the grilled catfish as a replacement. Man... this place has a long line no matter the day or time... Always a great indicator of good food! I do recommend getting on their list online, unless you like to hang out and wait! That is why I gave service 4 🌟 is because of the wait! The wait staff was awesome when we did finally get seated. The food was on point as usual! Can never go wrong at Cracker Barrel.
