A good "Cracker Barrel experience" is one of the fun things we enjoy. So while travelling through Bismark, ND, we stopped for a meal. The food was OK but not hot nor well presented. The waitress was more interested in getting us out than us enjoying a leisurely meal. Maybe it was just a bad day, although the restaurant did...
Great food and service. They were able to accommodate my gluten free diet! :-) Only complaints were that it was very loud and the front "store" was way too crowded to maneuver my mom's wheelchair.
We finally tried cracker barrel. It was yummy and so much food, we ordered the chicken and dumpling meal and added hashbrown casserole. There was lots for all 6 of us plus leftovers. Okra was great chicken was moist. All I can say, is if u do take away check your bags first. That seems to be my new mantra
Five of us went for dinner. Great selection of menu items, especially the sides. Pancakes were great (one of the group had breakfast). Mashed potatoes were so-so, more on the dry side. Meatloaf was tasty but lukewarm. Chicken n dumplings were good. Service was slow but friendly. Will likely come again, but might try a different location.

No one else being present in the restaurant gave Jayden, (excellent server) the time to be relaxed and attentive to me as if I was the only one there (which...
It seems like Cracker Barrel restaurants are always located in an easy spot to meet. This one has a bit of a tricky entry from the north to get into the parking lot. Aside from that, friendly and prompt service, cheerful and thoughtul statf. I make a point to recommend this for the traveler, since it is the first exit...
Like most Cracker Barrels it was consistently good. The service and food were good. Not far from the Missouri River.
I was served a healthy portion of great comfort food. I was given more than I cared to eat (but it was delicious), our server was very attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Aways good food and service and for something extra there's shopping. I am 74 years old and order from the children's menu and even then there is more food than I can handle but sure love the price. My friend that I go with always orders from the adult menu and always have to take her next day meal home...
