We got to try Dave's Hot Chicken for lunch today, and we had a great experience! We came for lunch on a Sunday around 11:30, and there was no line inside and no line for the drive thru either. After ordering at the front we found a table, and there was plenty of seating available. It took about 10 minutes for our food to be ready. Was super excited to try Dave's for the first time. I took my food to go and the drive thru line was extremely long. There's definitely a lot of hype right now, so if you decide to go around this time, just know you'll be waiting a while. I waited a little over an hour and a half and I will say the food isn't exactly worth waiting that long in line for. I'd wait till the hype dies down. Went for my first time by recommendation from my daughter and was impressed. The Reaper is actually pretty spicy. The seasoning is good on the fries, the kale slaw on the sliders was really good, and Dave’s sauce paired well with it all. It is higher price than most fast food, but other places don’t have the flavor or spice that this place does. I had the Reaper slider and the Extra Hot slider. My daughter had the ‘mild’ tenders. We both walked away happy and satisfied. Friendly staff. I plan to come back.
I had such a great experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken! The food was fresh, flavorful, and lived up to the hype! perfectly crispy chicken, delicious seasoning, and the pickles were the perfect touch.
