Was super excited to try Dave's for the first time. I took my food to go and the drive thru line was extremely long. There's definitely a lot of hype right now, so if you decide to go around this time, just know you'll be waiting a while. I waited a little over an hour and a half and I will say the food isn't exactly worth waiting that long in line for. I'd wait till the hype dies down. Review: Dave’s Hot Chicken – Georgetown Dave’s Hot Chicken recently opened a new location in Georgetown, and we decided to give it a try. Overall, it was delicious and the seasoning was good! We did go in expecting a long wait with all the hype around this place, but be ready to wait for about a minimum of 30 minutes. It was good, lots of food for reasonable price.
service was good, food came out fast considering it was super busy, (ordered take out, ended up dining in because it wasn't boxed up) tried one of everything and the shakes where good but maybe consider changing out the fry oil.... chicken was moist and large servings but tasted like overused oil.
Finally, my kids one of their favorite fried chicken fast food opened in Austin metropolitan area (George Town). Food quality is always good and loved by my family members. Thanks 🙏 for it. Also, their food is Zabiha Halal and you can find near registration. Attached the photo. Enjoy it!
