The chicken was very good ... but why the heck is it so expensive. LoL Service was very nice and helpful. Just went through the drive thru. But was very quick with getting the order out and fresh.

Hot was the upper limit of what I could handle. I would probably go for medium next time. Glad these heat levels are available though.

I have been a fan of Dave's Hot Chicken since the very beginning, back in East Hollywood (yes, that means I'm no spring chicken), so I was excited to visit this location now that I live in Texas. Everything was just as good as I remembered, and the best part is that there's a drive-thru here! I went with medium since it's been a minute. Public Service Announcement: tried Dave's Hot Chicken's Carolina Reaper sandwich the other night. They made me sign a waiver at the window. I knew it was gonna be intense but I handle top Scoville Units peppers all the time and I've sampled loads of hot sauces. Parked my car and ate the sandwich. Started sweating from head and armpits like I had just played 3 pickleball matches. The flavor was decent but the heat definitely overpowered it.
