Was super excited to try Dave's for the first time. I took my food to go and the drive thru line was extremely long. There's definitely a lot of hype right now, so if you decide to go around this time, just know you'll be waiting a while. I waited a little over an hour and a half and I will say the food isn't exactly worth waiting that long in line for. I'd wait till the hype dies down. We got to try Dave's Hot Chicken for lunch today, and we had a great experience! We came for lunch on a Sunday around 11:30, and there was no line inside and no line for the drive thru either. After ordering at the front we found a table, and there was plenty of seating available. It took about 10 minutes for our food to be ready. I had such a great experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken! The food was fresh, flavorful, and lived up to the hype! perfectly crispy chicken, delicious seasoning, and the pickles were the perfect touch. The chicken is very good. Since it is their grand opening, expect a lot of people here, both in the drive thru and inside. Everything was delicious, the fries were very similar to something like Zaxby’s, and the chicken was seasoned beautifully. It was very tender and juicy.
