Came into Dave's Hot Chicken in El Cajon and was pleasantly surprised. The place was busy and clean. Clerk at counter was especially helpful and attentive as this was my first visit. He was smiling and cordial and explained the menu quickly and precisely, making me feel comfortable and appreciated. The whole experience was top notch. I will be returning.

very delicious chicken it was so juicy i had to come back again. very well seasoned and I loved it.
Dave's is a colorful place for quick serve hot chicken. The tenders are large and come with fries, Mac and cheese, or kale slaw. DD, who is a Wingstop fan, liked Dave's chicken better. Service was quick and friendly. The dining room is pretty spacious and decorated with colorful graffiti-type art. Definitely worth checking out!
We love Dave's hot chicken right next to the beach! It is the perfect spot to come for yummy food!
