I tried Dave's hot chicken for the first time earlier this year in LA and absolutely loved it. I was in San Diego last week and saw a Dave's hot chicken on DoorDash and needed to try it to confirm whether or not Dave's is just that good, or if just the one LA location was that good. First time having Dave's! I ordered the Dave's #2 $17.87: lite mild, add cheese to sliders and fries. Lisa was very friendly, ensuring we had enough Dave's sauce and hot honey. She also provided extra pickles upon my request! Dave's chicken sliders were definitely quite refreshing with the pickles and the slaw. I definitely enjoyed it! There is seating inside, although tables can get a bit dirty and no one was really cleaning it up. Street parking only. Excited to try other Dave's locations!

AMAZING SERVICE SHOUT OUT CARLOS!!! Food was really fresh and I'm definitely coming back again!! Inside was really clean and the vibes were nice.
LISA is the BEST... if y'all don't toss that amazing woman a raise/promotion I'd be really let down... she helped my girlfriend pick the best seasoning, gave us an extra daves sauce, and told us some awesome jokes... we had an extra long wait because we showed up at 12:45 am, got our food at 12:50, and it was a helluva lot of food... i juzt really think y'all shlould make this lady a manager because she was the only reason i didn't throw a tantrum waiting for the food.
The service was quick and the staff greeted with a smile ! The food was great , can definitely feel the love that they put into it. Once again , the staff are very very kind and welcoming into the establishment. Despite the wait time , my friends and I enjoyed the tunes they had playing outside. Definitely would come here again !!
