Dave's Hot Chicken is a must try. The food is really good. The chicken tastes so good. I totally recommend it. The ambience of the restaurant is good, nice and clean. The service is great and the staff is good.
Oh heck why not burn your tongue off? Visiting in San Diego - heard of this place, kind of famous? Ordered the hottest chicken - thought I was gonna die - hard to taste hahaha made to order hot and fresh can't complain - order came out when stared - place was a little dirty - tables uncleaned trash full no one in the restaurant it was 2:30pm so no excuse - definitely get what you expect here lol
Renata & Pamela were so sweet and accommodating when we showed up close to closing time! They assured us not to rush and enjoy our meal
The chicken slider here is great but the ambience of this small shop is abysmal. The world's worst low fidelity speaker blasts music inside and outside the shop. Also the wait for one's order is way longer than one would expect. It would have been nice if the cashier provided some idea of how long the wait would be for the food.
This was my first time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and the food was pretty good. We placed an order for pickup and everything was hot and ready when we picked up our order. The service was good and I would recommend if you're in the area.

Our first time at this location. Nice spot on the way to the beach. Street parking l, but plentiful even on a Saturday! The guy at the register was nice and took our order quickly. We got our food in less than 10 minutes! Everything was fresh and hot! Delicious food! We loved the loaded fries! Tried the Mac cause I wasn't too hungry, it was delicious!
Anytime I crave fried chicken in PB I come here. Definitely the best fried chicken in town! I always order through their app to skip the lines. The service is great and very friendly. The place is always busy but still maintained very well and clean. Definitely one of my guilty pleasures!
