TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Consistently good service, fries, and crispy hot chicken! Mariah and Sarkas provided excellent service when i was last there!
With the proliferation of fast food fried chicken places, I've been on a mission to find the best fried chicken sandwich around. Dave's - isn't it. There's a lot going for their product: the chicken is hot, juicy and crunchy. The buns are fine, and the sauce, slaw and pickles are good, though not great. I'd have loved both more sweetness balanced by vinegar-acidity to the sauce and pickles, as well as some mayo-creaminess to smooth out the astringency of the spice mix. Great location great staff! Shoutout to Isaiah for being a very welcoming employee! In LA you usually don't get friendly service, and this location always gives you the best service.
