The mac n cheese was good, i can't say the same about the chicken. The spices were spicy but had no flavor, but the chicken was soft.
On Friday, November 3, 2023 we ordered a "Hot Box" with fries and 6 sauces. for carry-out. I drove 15 minutes to pick it up and reviewed the order with the man at the counter. He handed me a bag that was tied and taped closed and assured me item by item that everything in my order was included. Was sooo looking forward to trying Dave's Hot Chicken! I went inside specifically because it was my first time. The dude at the counter had no clue about any of the food, nor could he answer any of my questions. He had to ask the manager what was in their coleslaw. Used to come in all the time, got the 2 tender combo. Came in tonight, no longer an option!!! Same price now for a SINGLE tender combo!!! What a rip off. No longer our favorite hot chicken place.

I ordered online for pickup from here one night during the week. I got the Combo #3 which comes with 1 tender, 1 slider, fries and a drink $14.99. I got a small chocolate shake for my drink $1.70 upcharge. I do not handle spice well so I went pretty conservative with Lite Mild on the tender and Mild on the slider. The tenders have good flavor but they are not crunchy at all. They are a decent size but for what you get it is way overpriced in my opinion. Bad service horrible chicken was not impressed thought it would be better was not even better than Tyson chicken from Walmart.

I have eaten there with my husband at several locations and was shocked by the prices and food portion for each Combo. For 9.99 you get 1 tender with fries and drink?? No thank you, everyone should go to the West Plano location where they have 2 Tenders with fries for 11.99

Food was great my only complain is the food prices, for 1 tender, fries and a drink is 9.99??? Doesn't make sense, also the one in west Plano has 2 tender fries for 11.99. Food is great but just go to the one in west Plano for a bigger bang for your buck.

My stars remain the same. The bites were okay. The chicken strip was good but the prices increased drastically. One strip and fries is $10.00.
