The taste is just off as well as it has a weird aftertaste. We couldn't even finish our second slider and threw it away. This is a chain joint that I will not be going to again. There are far better smaller hot chicken restaurants just about everywhere

over priced, over-rated, HORRIBLE location. The food is tasty, but spending $30 on two combo meals when the drink isn't included and some of the food is missing- no thank you. AND the drink isn't included with the combo...AND their idea of a large drink is equivalent to a small McDonalds drink. So ridiculous- I can go to Popeyes and get the same tasting sandwich for WAYYYYYY cheaper and the drink is included in the combo AND part of the combo isn't missing. Miss me with Dave's

I was excited to try but I just didn't like it at all :( I got mild and the chicken just tasted like straight up cumin powder was rubbed all over it. Didn't finish it. Was a bummer but just not what I was hoping for. Mac and cheese was okay. Chocolate shake was fine. Fries and Dave's sauce were the best part but nothing that crazy.

The mac n cheese was good, i can't say the same about the chicken. The spices were spicy but had no flavor, but the chicken was soft.
On Friday, November 3, 2023 we ordered a "Hot Box" with fries and 6 sauces. for carry-out. I drove 15 minutes to pick it up and reviewed the order with the man at the counter. He handed me a bag that was tied and taped closed and assured me item by item that everything in my order was included. After driving back home and opening the bag, I discovered that our fries and sauces were NOT included. I called the store and spoke with the manager. He apologized for the mistake and said that the next time I came in the store, our... read more

Was sooo looking forward to trying Dave's Hot Chicken! I went inside specifically because it was my first time. The dude at the counter had no clue about any of the food, nor could he answer any of my questions. He had to ask the manager what was in their coleslaw. I ordered a medium hot slider with my coleslaw on the side, to go. He talked me out of medium and said I should just go with a mild and I told him I liked spicy... So he convinced me to go with mild. Big mistake, no flavor! My sandwich was cold, soggy, and they l... read more

Used to come in all the time, got the 2 tender combo. Came in tonight, no longer an option!!! Same price now for a SINGLE tender combo!!! What a rip off. No longer our favorite hot chicken place.

I ordered online for pickup from here one night during the week. I got the Combo #3 which comes with 1 tender, 1 slider, fries and a drink $14.99. I got a small chocolate shake for my drink $1.70 upcharge. I do not handle spice well so I went pretty conservative with Lite Mild on the tender and Mild on the slider. The tenders have good flavor but they are not crunchy at all. They are a decent size but for what you get it is way overpriced in my opinion. The fries were pretty good, little seasoning on them and perfectly crisp... read more
