10/10. Best way to sum is up is bang for your buck. You get a really good amount of food and don't feel like you need to go back more. Combo #3 was amazing and the pickles are super good. Overall, truly lives up to the hype. Not sure what these other low reviews are talking about.

If you haven't yet, you may want to get your hands on this perfectly seasoned, breaded and deep fried chicken. Get it with the heat or without, either way you will not be disappointed.

i got #3 (1 slider + 1 tender + fries) with medium spice, and i really liked it! i can withstand a decent amount spice, but i don't love a lot of it, and i think this was just right. my piece of advice is to just go ahead and get #2 -- the kale slaw and bread really elevates the chicken, and it felt almost like a waste to get that tender instead of 2 sliders. i guess you could say it seems "overpriced" just by looking at the *quantity* of the food, but it's so filling i would say it's well worth the price. i was only able t... read more

That little area on Showplace drive is really turning into a busy spot! With Dave's Hot Chicken opening I'm sure it will get even crazier. I was drawn to this place because I'd peeped their menu and was delighted to find that they have mild and lite mild flavor for their chicken! I want to preface this review by saying I've been to the LA Dave's dozens of times so I'm very familiar with the quality that they uphold. With that being said the buns at this location was very dry and had the texture of cardboard I'm pretty sure they use higher quality buns in California. The chicken was also too salty. They also fill up the tray with fries in California for the combo order there was a lower quantity here. The flavor and the heat were there but the quality and quantity must be improved. Got the hot level chicken strips and the fries. The spice blend tastes great and was damn hot. Had to drink a lotta milk to not die. The breading on the chicken was just right and nice and crispy. The chicken itself was also top notch. The tender size is very large. 2 are plenty for an adult. The fries are the crinkle cut variety. Were good and crispy, but otherwise unremarkable. Day 1, 1:30pm, and the milkshake machine is already down...not a good start! The chicken is good, a little salty, but the spice rub is tasty. Tenders are pretty big, which makes you wonder how many hormones you're ingesting because they plumped up the chickens to get tenders this size. The Dave's sauce is irrelevant and doesnt add a lot of flavor (definitely not as good as Cane's). It is VERY EXPENSIVE for what you get. Over $32 for a #2, #3, side of mac and cheese.
