Very tasty chicken, even for someone like me who tends to shy away from hot foods! They have plenty of options for spice lovers and mild fans alike. The chicken is deliciously crispy, and so tender. Also, the gentleman who gave me my food was very nice and double checked to confirm I had every component of my very large order. The staff handled the very large volume of costumers professionally and quickly! This is a great spot and you can count me as a loyal Dave's fan! See you soon!

10/10. Best way to sum is up is bang for your buck. You get a really good amount of food and don't feel like you need to go back more. Combo #3 was amazing and the pickles are super good. Overall, truly lives up to the hype. Not sure what these other low reviews are talking about.

If you haven't yet, you may want to get your hands on this perfectly seasoned, breaded and deep fried chicken. Get it with the heat or without, either way you will not be disappointed.

i got #3 (1 slider + 1 tender + fries) with medium spice, and i really liked it! i can withstand a decent amount spice, but i don't love a lot of it, and i think this was just right. my piece of advice is to just go ahead and get #2 -- the kale slaw and bread really elevates the chicken, and it felt almost like a waste to get that tender instead of 2 sliders. i guess you could say it seems "overpriced" just by looking at the *quantity* of the food, but it's so filling i would say it's well worth the price. i was only able t... read more

That little area on Showplace drive is really turning into a busy spot! With Dave's Hot Chicken opening I'm sure it will get even crazier. I was drawn to this place because I'd peeped their menu and was delighted to find that they have mild and lite mild flavor for their chicken! I don't get it. The place was busy. It took forever to get the food and it was barely warm. The chicken tasted terrible. The fries were just ok. The Dave's Sauce wasn't good. This is a once and done. This particular establishment was filthy. The staff was very nice though.

Love their chicken tenders. When in the area, will pass up Cane's to grab Dave's. Three of us had 7 great tenders but I got ripped off on the gratuity! I pushed 10% tip on a $41.42 bill but when I got home and looked at the receipt it wasn't $4.14 but rather $8.05! Shame on me for not looking at the receipt before we left! Great reason why I won't leave a tip next time I am in at Dave's.

Not a Naperville local so i wanted to try Dave's. Ordered food for pickup and when i got home 30 mins later I noticed they completely messed up my order. I called and the manager said no problem we will write it down and take care of you next time you are in the area. I called when i was in the area again and they acted completely oblivious and said we can't do anything.
