I first visited Dave's Hot Chicken three years ago when I worked at Ontario Airport and quickly became a regular customer. Since then, I changed airport locations and was thrilled to hear they were building one outside Lakewood Mall. My wife had never tried it, so I took her there for lunch. I ordered Dave's #1 meal for her, which included two tenders with fries, a slice of bread, pickles, and Dave's sauce. I chose the Hot heat level for her and a regular drink. First time trying it since its pretty popular... i'm glad i did. Chicken tenders are soooo good! Ordered Dave's #1 and it includes 2 tenders, decided to add another tender in case portions were not enough --- wrong, it was more than enough but i ate it anyway. Service was pretty straight forward because i ordered frim Drive Thru. I found the food expensive thus shaving off a star. For what i ordered i paid $20. I mean it did not come with a drink and it is chicken tenders after all.

$17.12 for two chicken strips and cheese fries! No drink. Nothing else! Just the chicken and half empty fries. The chicken is just okay similar to canes. It's definitely a skip!
Passed by the drive thru last night, service was slow and they still got my order wrong. I asked for sub macaroni and they gave me fries instead. I was not told they ran out or were waiting for some. They also forgot to include utensils when I specifically asked for them. I believe the guys name at the window was Anthony. Ruined my meal and hunger after waiting long for the incorrect meal.
The white guy with glasses is very rude and forgot my sauce after I asked him for some .
What I just received from the Lakewood Dave's hot chicken location. Paid about $17 for 2 sliders and one is missing half the bun.

Tried again when my son brought some home it didn't taste good,not cook in old grease.

Finally got around to trying dave hot chicken in my personal opinion I won't be returning way to pricey and gave me a terrible stomach ache but on the bright side the employees are great all smiles and very attentive
