With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I've had Dave's down in Southern California, and honestly it's a solid product. Food is usually good, and I would place this location as above average for the chain. That said it's recently dawned on me as to why I only come here once every few months. As far as service goes it's identical to what you'd expect from any McDonalds. Ok, it's been awhile since I've been here, this was my third time. What a difference from the last time I was there. I guess the newness has worn off. The place was empty at around 4:50pm on a Thursday. By empty I mean maybe 4 people. Talk about a skeleton crew working. 2 people in the back 1 person in the front.
