TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Today was my first time trying Dave's chicken and they did not disappoint! I orders the 2 sliders (mild) with fries and the pieces of chicken were huge!! Total was around $16 and change. Sliders had flavor but my favorite was that they gave extra pickles!! Other chicken places maybe will give you a pickle on your sandwich...I will definitely be back to try the tenders and different flavors.
Yummy chicken! Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. The Mac and cheese is creamy and cheesy. Tried the mild pieces and it had just the right kind of heat for me. If you haven't tried it, you are missing out. TY Dave's hot chicken! Liza

The fried cauliflower is amazing!!!! It's their new "not chicken" sandwich and I hope it will stay. it's so juicy and crispy. yum! tastes the same really. love the spice too. I appreciate the friendly service too.

Had to come to see if Dave's was worth all the hype I'd been hearing. Finally. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. A good sign, but the restaurant is very small and stuffy. I ordered a sandwich combo (mild) and a couple of strips (medium). Enjoyed both, and left very full! Sometimes at these fried chicken sandwich restaurants, the fillet size in the sandwich isn't very substantial, but this one was a good size.
