TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This is my go-to spot for chicken sandwiches when in Mira Mesa. The food is flavorful and the people are nice. The inside, however, is pretty small so do not expect to eat inside. The line for this place gets pretty long, so I recommend downloading the app and ordering ahead. That way you don't have to wait in the long line and you get points for future purchases.

The best spicy chicken! Way better than the other similar options in town due to their top notch service, freshness, and flavor. Fries, sauce, spiciness, quality, 5 stars.

I randomly decided to pull up to the area because the traffic was so bad. I love chicken so I was naturally gravitated towards the signage that says "Chicken"! I got the #3 1 Tender & 1 Slider w/ Fries. The chicken tender was amazing with the sauce (you ask for extra sauce) - tender and juicy. The fries were wonderfully seasoned that my boyfriend, who is picky about fries, inhaled his portion and went on to my portion. You can eat the fries without ketchup and sauce because of how godly seasoned they are. The slider obviou... read more
