Food is mid and considered "fast food" but will take 30+ minutes to get you your food, just go to canes at this point

Probably the worst Dave's hot chicken I've been to in SoCal. Both times we came here, the wait after ordering was around 25 min and our food came out warm. The fries weren't even hot? For a medium the chicken could've been spicer. There aren't a lot of tables, it's just crowded in there with people who are waiting for orders. In San Diego, the best location is the one in pacific beach. Pb location has fast service and the food always comes out PIPING HOT!

I only come because the kids like the spice sprinkled on the chicken. Expect a wait of at least 30 minutes during any sort of meal time. They dont have much seating. Why would anyone come? Cane's and ChikfilA are light years faster.

crispy and flavorful. just some solid ass dave's. better than the one in yuma az. that shit's mid af. not this one though. the hot is hot. hurt my stomach. but so bomb

I really liked the food at their Escondido location, but the food here at Mira Mesa was not good. The chicken tasted stale, like it had been in the freezer for a long time. The fries tasted soggy and old. Disappointed that the food didn't taste fresh. It tasted old, stale, bland. Worried I would get sick from eating old food, I threw most of it away. The shakes were okay but overpriced. Customer service was good, though. Not much seating inside, but there's outdoor seating. Will not return.
