TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Pleasantly surprised with Dave's Hot Chicken sandwiches!! Was scared it was gonna be too spicy I couldn't enjoy the food, but thankfully you're able to choose your spice level!

It's lunch for my kid while at school, food is great, ordered it through yelp, service was great, ambiance is awesome.

So what's all the fuss about. Finally ate here and we ordered mild and hot tenders. Also a tender hot sandwich. Ok. Mind blown. The bread they add is a nice touch. Ultimately the chicken. Wow. Juicy. Nice cut. The rub is out of this rub. I would dare not try reaper but mild is not for me. Hot was a perfect balance of spice. Just so delicious. The dipping sauce is a perfect amount of coolant effect while still not overpowering the meat. The sando was bomb. The slaw pickles bread. It was just so good. A league over Pop... read more

Very satisfied with my lunch! The way they prepare the chicken is unlike anything I've experienced. Fries were also very good. The hot sauce they give you is not that hot, so if you need fire-level spice you may want to specify that. The medium level spice I would describe as "low medium." I'll be back!
