I had a decent experience on my one other experience with Dave's in Sacramento. It was a bit spicy hotter than expected, but juicy and tasty. I was glad to hear about one opening in U.C. I finally decided to give it a try. I was at first put off by the high prices for basic chicken tenders. But, okay... I'm here, I'll give it a try. I made a take out order with medium sauce. Overly breaded chicken tenders feel sick. They used to used chicken tenders that were not breaded that's. Gone.

It's been ages since we had Dave's hot chicken when there was a location that first opened in LoS Angeles and at the time thought it was decent. After years of not having it, tried the union city location and omg the wings were not good. We had taken it to go and the car smelled spicy and hard to bread even with mild and medium spicy. Can't comment on service or ambience as it was a to go pick up order. Disappointed to write this review

The service was great since one of the Staffs was friendly and helpful. We ordered #3 and #4 with the spicy level "hot". Both the chicken and the fries were super salty to a point that we couldn't continue to finish the food. We went there to eat after reading the good reviews from yelp, and left with a big disappointment.

Wait is too long because they have in house, app/online, DoorDash, Uber Eats orders. 30 mins waiting in house order. Poor experience.

I ordered thru uber eats and got extra sauces (that already cost more than half a dollar each btw), didn't get any of that. for the price y'all charge for the food; the least y'all could do is get the orders right, acting like the sauces come outta ur paycheck or smth.

We have been coming here every now and then since they opened. Today was a major disappointment. Our chicken was lukewarm temperature and the fries stale. This will be last time we visit, unfortunately. The place still looks clean and has a nice vibe, but I'm not paying $15 for cold chicken strips with lousy fries.
