I had the 2 slider combo (added cheese) and medium spice level. Food came out fairly quick. Chicken was hot and very juicy and for me the medium was perfect spice level. They also season the fries and I love that they serve the crinkly fries. The slaw on the slider added the perfect crunch! I will definitely be coming back here again.

Dave's is so good! There number 3 is a go to it's much better with cheese! I can have dave's every day without getting tired of it.

I dined in for my first experience. I ordered Dave's #3, which consisted of 1 tender, 1 slider, and a side of fries. For my order, I specified my spice level to be hot. The workers were quick to take and serve my order. In terms of the food, I was impressed. Both the tender and the sandwich were delicious. The chicken was juicy and the breading was not too light and not too heavy. I personally like chicken that has a good ratio of breading to meat. I was over the moon when I saw Dave's opening in my area. As a double bonus, it replaced Togo's, which I never liked anyway! I wrote extensively about the Dave's in Santa Ana, off of Bristol. All the goodness applies here as well, so I'll try not to be too repetitive. A while back, I made a weekly trip to try a different Nashville hot chicken joint and reviewed as many as I could. I LOVE me some Dave's and was sooo happy to see one open in my hometown of Tustin! Now I can get my fix whenever I feel the craving coming! I popped by the new location opening weekend and everything was running like a well oiled machine! The food came out promptly, lots of smiles from staff and everything tasted as yummy as it always has! Definitely a bit win for Tustin!

I would 100% recommend you this Dave's Hot Chicken location. The food was spot on and hit the spot. I just came back from a workout and it was just the right meal full of protein.

I came in for the first time hearing about the hype around Dave's, was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and offered me their recommendations. Leo was very helpful during my visit to Dave's. Will definitely be returning, it's a spot where you can trust everything will be on point and the wait time was not long.

Combo doesn't even come with a drink and they ask you what drink you want like it's included. Small portions too. What a joke. What can you say when they're bought out by private equity.
