For a fast food chain, this place is surprisingly good. I went in for a quick bite and really liked it. You wont really find anything better in the world of fast food chains. Good price. Juicy spicy chicken. Fast. Good price. Works for me.
My wife and I stopped in for lunch randomly and were greeted with some lovely spicy chicken. The ambiance is fun and funky, great artistic style. The food is excellently flavored even with the spiciness. Highly recommend the chicken sandwiches!
Pretty good food! and that's coming from someone who isn't a big chicken sandwich fan. The service is sloooooow, but I'm pretty sure they're making the food right then. The restaurant itself is right by the UO campus so it's much more of a grab and go vibe compared to sit down.
Went there today and ordered Dave's Bites in medium heat with fries and it was good! The interior was colorful and had a Mario theme at the ordering area above and they forgot my Diet Coke after I ordered. When I got my food, there was one fry bubble and I had to spit it out because it tasted funny and I thought it was a nugget. Although it was good! New to the area, Daves Hot Chicken is extremely good. I recommend to stop here if you are in downtown Eugene! 5 stars
Would easily say they have the best chicken sandwich, the perfect amount of of tang, moistness, and crunch. The buns hold up the sauce well, I'd even recommend getting extra sauce to dip it in. It was pretty busy when I came by on a late evening, had to wait a while before everything was done but it was worth it.
Dave's is one of those spots I usually only go to after being out for the night. They are one of the few places open late in Eugene and is super close to the popular college bars. I can't say how good the food is on a typical day but I do know that their hot tenders are so very scrumptious after consuming 4 shots of tequila and a few amfs. Nick was an amazing server! Cannot recommend him more. Super friendly, kind and humorous; everything you'd want and more when coming to Dave's Hot Chicken! My expectations were blown away by their service, primarily Nick's!:)
