Dave's Hot Chicken is such a well-known chain in the LA area, yet I never tried it until I was back in the Bay. They're known for their hot chicken that can be adjusted to different spice levels to satisfy all the spice fiends in the world. I came to this location on a Tuesday evening around 9pm. I saw somewhere online that Dave's was offering "Non Chicken" (cauliflower steaks) as an alternative for non-meat eaters so I had to try it! The sandwich I had was FANTASTIC!!! I got the mild since it was my 1st time trying their heat. It was definitely mild but what I absolutely loved was the *crunch* of the coating and then the tenderness of the cauliflower. Good quality food, lots of seating, but the portion size is a little small for what you pay.

Ask them for ranch, they will ignore your requests and laugh. It's bad here. All they had to do was add ranch. I would have paid. This business is done.

never going there. always mess up order. takes forever even when the place is empty. they messed up my order which i asked for customization (due to allergy reasons). I asked them to fix it, and they gave me weird look and attitude, and when it came back still wasnt fixed. Have to ask them to fix it again. Gave me the same fries that was sitting there for 10 minutes while they were fixing my order 2 times, and more attitude. thanks Daves. the default tipping is 18% over here which you pay while ordering. I love spicy food and was excited to try their reaper tenders. However, although the tender was juicy on the inside, the breading was too thick and there was way too much seasoning, which gave it a chalky texture. Overall, wasn't enjoyable.

I love Dave's. Come here all the time. It we came here for my birthday at this location and it was a really awful experience. I am surprised they didn't charge us $5 to use the restroom. I am not coming back to this location.
