Bad service...chicken taste bland..ambiance dirty and very uncomfortable and music too loud

Came inside to order because their website wasn't working despite having "successfully" used apple pay as an option. That said, I thought going in to order would mean that it will come out crispy & fresh so I didn't mind. I opened the box right after ordering so I could eat in my car. I've had Dave's hot chicken in Vegas before so when I saw that there was one in Sunnyvale I was so excited. Friendly staff, quick and responsive (2 stars) Chicken flavor is just 0 stars, the seasoning is bland, Ive tried different heat levels and all the same just not good, like really not good at all. Again, the staff, and ambiance is very clean and friendly. The food from this franchise is just really bad compared to the numerous options in our area.

My nephew and I each ordered two chicken sliders and fries. The sliders were good. On the negative side, it was pretty expensive for fast food, and the cashier not-so-subtly asked for a tip (showed me the tablet and wanted to show me some "important information", which was basically a screen showing 10%, 15%, 20% options for a tip. I felt compelled to tip and wondered why I was tipping at all when we ordered at the counter and picked up the order ourselves. Dave's makes a very tasty spicy chicken sandwich. I have eaten here probably a dozen times. The service is good and the quality is good. The one problem I have is their inconsistency. I have ordered all levels of spice on their menu (including Reaper that you have to sign a waiver for, but really isn't that hot or maybe it was just that time), and I have yet to receive consistent levels of spiciness for whatever level I order. I've had mild chicken taste hotter than hot chicken. I've had lite mild be spicier than medium. And... read more

1 star horrible visit wont be coming back they gave me a sorry ass mac & cheese like do you even call it mac & cheese anymore?? or should they call it soup because of how soupy and sorry it was they labeled both of my boxes hot when i only wanted medium & hot so i was confused on which was which and i blame antony fix your mac & cheese so disappointed in daves dont come here angry chickz is better anyways. straight utter disrespect and like a slap to the face
