Clean, well lit, fast food place that serves hot chicken--spicy friend chicken that comes in two configurations (a slider, or as chicken tenders) and seven degrees of heat, ranging from not spicy on up. I ordered Medium and it was pretty spicy. Seems geared toward a younger crowd, with high-energy decor and fairly loud rock music. Dave has some of the best hot chicken around. The walls are designed with color and give a graffiti artist feel. Their menu is pretty basic sandwiches with fries, Mac and cheese, and shakes or soda, but when you do something so we'll you don't need 20 different choices. The spice levels are tame, hot isn't over powering at all. Extra hot you can taste but the heat but it does linger. Medium has a little heat, mild has none that I could taste at all. Gave me the wrong type of spice on my chicken bites, also bread wasn't toasted so I tossed that out, "extra hot" is suppose to be mango habanero, and on top of that I tipped them just so they could mess up my order??? Cmon guys!

They straight up forgot my order for 30 minutes when the ticket was right in front of them. It wasn't even a busy night, when I walked to the counter to check the lady just said they'll work on it but then kept calling up orders after me. We had to walk over to the counter and ask them a second time for the meal to be made.

Came inside to order because their website wasn't working despite having "successfully" used apple pay as an option. That said, I thought going in to order would mean that it will come out crispy & fresh so I didn't mind. I opened the box right after ordering so I could eat in my car. I've had Dave's hot chicken in Vegas before so when I saw that there was one in Sunnyvale I was so excited. Friendly staff, quick and responsive (2 stars) Chicken flavor is just 0 stars, the seasoning is bland, Ive tried different heat levels and all the same just not good, like really not good at all. Again, the staff, and ambiance is very clean and friendly. The food from this franchise is just really bad compared to the numerous options in our area.
