The boys in Blue Öyster Cult had it down right when they said Don't Fear the Reaper. At least where Dave's Carolina Reaper slider is concerned. Excellent food, excellent staff. Amazingly clean restaurant. It was spotless and there were staff cleaning the already spotless place. But the service is where they shined. Either I ordered the wrong meal or the lady heard me wrong, but they only charged me for a slider instead of a tender and a slider. I wasn't paying attention so didn't notice it. This place is a solid 3.5. The chicken looks like it is hand breaded. It is super moist. The buns on the sandwich was pretty awesome also. Soft. Seemed like a potato bread. I could be wrong. . I got the medium heat and honestly, there wasn't any heat at all. Maybe go another level if you want to taste some spice. The fries I got extra crispy. They were good. Seasoned well. Dave's.....did we just become best friends? You know me. Somehow, someway, you have been watching me since high school all those decades ago and you know me. Okay folks, food is flipping delicious. Let's just get that out of the way. Doesn't matter what you get it's gunna be bangin. Bit of info, the medium was...well very medium and is a good choice for those who are heat sensitive. We are here a few weeks ago and I totally forgot to write a review. First and foremost very clean location with lots of helpful employees. You do order then sit down. We did a Yelp check in and they gave us a free milkshake which was awesome because we were able to try their milkshakes and definitely that was 10/10. Visited DOC on 12/3/22, which just happened to be their opening day as well. The drive thru lines were insanely long, but that is to be expected! We decided to just go ahead and park and just go inside for our order. As we walked in, we were impressed with how cool the vibe was! I love the entire aesthetic! Super fun and modern.
