The service and food were both good. That being said pop-eyes chicken is better in my opinion. Dave's chicken has a whole lot of seasoning on it, a bit too much if you ask me. I had a hot tender and a very hot tender and I would say they are on point for a heat rating. The Meridian location drive thru is a little bit tough getting through with a truck, I'd recommend large trucks just taking the time to go inside

Dave's Hot Chicken specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken. It was created by three best friends, one of who was a chef trained at Thomas Keller's French Laundry restaurant. I can't say I was overly impressed. The service was quick and friendly. The chicken was fine but I guess for the price I was expecting something amazing. It wasn't amazing but it was good.

We ate at Daves for the 1st time in Meridian, ID on Eagle near Lowes. We both love a good nashville hot chicken sandwich. We ordered a Daves # 2, 2 sliders, and fries and a single slider with a soda. We odered hot spice level on all sandwiches. We were thrown by the term slider, so we added the single in case we were still hungry, not understanding the size of the sandwich. Hot Slider and tenders. Hot enough that a waiver has to be signed. But a little spendy for what you get.

Really good. The burger is small maybe if they had bigger buns. So they can add more of the coleslaw salad. That way it would not fall all over the place. The chicken was season perfectly.

Wow!!! Dave's Hot Chicken has the best chicken sandwich I have ever tasted. The chicken is perfectly cooked and has a nice bite and crunch to it. You can tell everything is made fresh to order. You can choose your spice level. The sandwich is served with slaw and pickles. Their fries are perfectly seasoned and served with fry sauce! We tried this place last week for the first time and have already been back twice. The service is exceptional and quick and the dining room is clean!

I think it's better and fresher than Popeyes. Staff seems friendlier. May cost a bit more but worth it IMO. I don't ever recall a line at the drive through and can't comment on inside but staff at window seemed friendly and order has always been correct
