TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We are here a few weeks ago and I totally forgot to write a review. First and foremost very clean location with lots of helpful employees. You do order then sit down. We did a Yelp check in and they gave us a free milkshake which was awesome because we were able to try their milkshakes and definitely that was 10/10. Visited DOC on 12/3/22, which just happened to be their opening day as well. The drive thru lines were insanely long, but that is to be expected! We decided to just go ahead and park and just go inside for our order. As we walked in, we were impressed with how cool the vibe was! I love the entire aesthetic! Super fun and modern. Went for the first time with my family and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken is juicy & moist. Totally thought it was going to be dry. Makes for a really good sandwich + the fries are good. Definitely could see this becoming a staple with the kids.
First time here and it won't be the last. Not only do they have the best ice, IYKYK, the food was super delicious. I got the #3 and felt I made the right choice. Medium spice level. Wasn't too hot, the seasoned fries were crisp and had a good flavor. The slider was great, as was the strip. Give it a shot, you wont regret it

Delicious! Went inside to dine in on a Friday evening, and there was a decent crowd. Plenty of seating, We waited maybe 10 minutes for our food, and it was super fresh, and hot. The chicken was moist, and very flavorful. I got the super hot rub, and it wasn't over the top. It did make my nose run a bit, but it wasn't uncomfortable to eat. I paid $13.99 for 2 decently sized sliders, and it came with French fries- which were also seasoned well, and perfectly crispy! We'll definitely be returning!
