I'm always looking for great chicken places so I decided to give Dave's Hot Chicken a try. With that being said, I'm glad I did because it was delicious. Knowing that, I ordered the combo #3 and macaroni and cheese. The combo comes with a tender, fries, and a chicken sandwich. Anyways, I tried the chicken tender and it was great. When I read that Canadian rapper Drake was so impressed with the recipe that he invested in the company, I wanted to try some myself. I ordered online on a Saturday just before dinnertime. TLDR: elevated chicken sangwich, Cole slaw is too runny. Service was a little slow as there was a large order right ahead of me, looks like they ordered one of everything on the menu. Restaurant was clean. Bathrooms were clean. The decor of the restaurant was pretty cool. Split the double slider with fries with my husband. The fries were nice and hot, seasoned right out the fryer. The Cole slaw must've been sitting in its juices bc it was quite wet and made the rest of the sangwich very soggy. Pickles were also a bit moist... read more
