I'd like to say that although I was not happy with my first visit, that did not reflect how exactly I felt about the food. Dave's Hot Chicken has made up for my bad experience, I appreciate it. I'll shall return.

My husband and I went this afternoon and I thoroughly impressed. It was really busy when we got there (around 2/2:30pm), but we were still able to get our food within 15 minutes of ordering. Customer service was on point, everyone was as friendly. It's a small joint, so we decided to just take our food to go, it felt crowded in there with all the bodies. This is my favorite new restaurant in Omaha and will probably be the reason I become obese in the near future (worth it). I seriously can't get enough. Spice level Hot is a perfect balance of spicy with enough bite to leave you wanting more. The chicken is fried to a perfect crunch yet still so juicy. The sliders are bomb. The tenders are bomb. Dave's Hot Chicken is worth the wait! The menu is simple but the combination of things you can get is awesome! I ordered the two chicken sliders with fries. The chicken is full of flavor and the fries are amazing! The only thing I wasn't a big fun of was the sauce but it is still good. The manager came outside while we waited to talk to us which is always make you feel like they care about their customers. I can't wait to go back!

Tried the reaper slider. It is indeed quite hot but not as hot it sounds. Also, it is quite expensive for side a 1 slider. Almost 9 dollers and they they just added the tip automatically? Didnt even ask me. Probably will visit after couple months when it kinda gets less busier

Customer service was great and so fast which I appreciated because I was nervous about there being to many people. I ordered the Dave's #3 which was a tender and a tender sandwich with coleslaw and a side of fries and of course a side of Dave's famous sauce and pickles. The Tenders are a nice size and seasoned well. I wished a drink came with it but we did get a milkshake which was SO GOOD. I heard about this place and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. We waited outside in line and inside inline (only one register going) for about 15 minutes. For 13.99 you can get 2 tenders sliders and fries and pickles. I feel like that should include a drink. It also comes with a sauce similar to canes IMO. Food was pretty good. Definitely didn't exceed expectations, but certainly met them. It was very busy but the service was still solid. Very fast but my order was entered incorrectly, so I did not get exactly what I asked for.
