TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Very consistent quality! Chicken is great and the service has been great in my experience too!

Tried Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time with the family and we really liked it. While in the university area we were hungry and looking for some YUMMY food and something different, Although I've had HOT CHICKEN before a few people that was with me hadn't and wanted to give it a try. Food was perfect. Fresh. Spicy. Large quantities. The sliders were large. The size of a Chick-fil-A sandwhich. Amazing!
Been hearing a lot of buzz about Dave's hot chicken so i was interested in checking it out. I had the chicken sandwich and Macaroni. This is a place where the chicken is the star. The sandwich lived up to the hype for sure.
It's a good fast food restaurant. Fries are pretty good. Chicken Burgers are also pretty good. Milkshakes are decent. Mac & Cheese is not good.
Okay I over reacted and had Dave's for lunch, bomb as always!!!!!!!!!!! And this time I had extra honey without asking!

This place is great! Some tips for ordering.... the sliders are not sliders. they are more like full on chicken sandwiches. So if you get the 2 slider plate with fries as the 3 in our party did- know that you are most likely going home with leftovers. Also, i know this is subjective - but if you want like real hot chicken, order it Extra Hot. Just regular hot is not spicy enough. My son ordered cheese on his and I really don't think that added much but YMMV. Service is super friendly, patient, and helpful.
