WOW. WOW. WOW!!!! Dave's Hot Chicken was actually not my first choice, the restaurant nearby was closed but BOY AM I GLAD! First off, the woman who took my order was so nice! I told her I had never been here and she recommended the #3 (which I TOTALLY recommend now too!!) At 7pm, the restaurant was filled and I took that as a good sign that the food was delicious, but I was worried how long my food would take. The food only took 5 minutes tops! First time at a Dave's and I have to say I was very impressed. Everything was very fresh. The tenders were big and flavorful. Service was quick and food came out pretty quickly. If I was to have any negative comments it would be that the music was a little loud, but bearable.

It's an absolute flavor bomb! The chicken was spicy and sweet, great slaw and great bun... only the chicken tender itself could have been better. It wasn't as "tender" of a tender as many other places, and it didn't seem as fresh as it could have been. But it was still darn good and worth future visits for sure. TLDR, Unique ambiance indoors, good food, kind service! Horrible parking situation!! I don't know if there were just lots of nitwits out when we went, but 3 cars were pulled up to the businesses with their hazard's on, like it was the airport?? Excuse me? It forced me to drive the wrong way, luckily no cars were coming head on. Upon coming in, the lighting was funky and the walls all had graffiti! It was pretty cool, but VERY busy visually. I actually don't like Hot chicken or anything spicy so didn't try this spot til now. I had the lite mild - wasn't hot at all but trying plain next time. Chicken tenders were huge and the pickles amazing! I also love the crinkle fries w/ seasoning. And yes that's a chicken riding a rocket......
