TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Ordered through DoorDash delivered to hotel, and always worry about missing food from my order and that's the only reason not getting 5. No Mac and Cheese for me. But good god...the chicken sandwich sliders whatever...literally perfection. And the dasher missed the entrance to my hotel 2x. I got the regular old hot option and it was on the border of too hot but did not cross it (for me, anyway). They have lesser heat and more heat options but I'd be careful. I don't like spicy food but wish I would've gotten mild for more flavor instead of lite mild. Fries and pickles were great. The sauce didn't have much flavor. Not wowed the first time, but I'll try again.
The service was absolutely superb at this location. The food came out fast and the employees were nice. The dine-in space was spacious and clean. I ordered the #3 with a hot spice level which is the tender and slider combo. The chicken was juicy and tender and the hot is actually hot.
Amazing! Best seasoning on chicken I've ever had! Also, the fries are on point and the dipping sauce is the perfect compliment to the spice of the Chicken.

Came her for lunch today. This is one of our usual lunch spots. Came In and surprise it was packed. Ordered our food and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. I finally got to try Dave's and my stomach and taste buds were happy!!! I ordered the 2 slider combo (medium spice) with fries and a chocolate milkshake. The sliders, in my opinion, were huge so you definitely get your money's worth. The sauce that came on the sandwich added a little something extra to the already flavorful meal. Ordered Dave's through DoorDash and when it arrived it was still hot. First bite into the chicken sandwich I could hear angels singing. It was absolutely life changing. The spice, the heat, the juiciness... everything was perfect. Might be the best chicken I've had in my life, and this is coming from a life-long Chick-fil-Aer. This place is worth the hype times a million.
