One of my friends had never tried Dave's so I decided to take her to the University location and they did NOT disappoint! Once we walked in, we were greeted with a few welcomes and surrounded by a nice and steady atmosphere. Janiah was our cashier and was very helpful when it came to ordering our meals. We tried Dave's #1 & #3 which was delicious! 100% coming back for service and quality.

WOW. WOW. WOW!!!! Dave's Hot Chicken was actually not my first choice, the restaurant nearby was closed but BOY AM I GLAD! First off, the woman who took my order was so nice! I told her I had never been here and she recommended the #3 (which I TOTALLY recommend now too!!) At 7pm, the restaurant was filled and I took that as a good sign that the food was delicious, but I was worried how long my food would take. The food only took 5 minutes tops! First time at a Dave's and I have to say I was very impressed. Everything was very fresh. The tenders were big and flavorful. Service was quick and food came out pretty quickly. If I was to have any negative comments it would be that the music was a little loud, but bearable.

It's an absolute flavor bomb! The chicken was spicy and sweet, great slaw and great bun... only the chicken tender itself could have been better. It wasn't as "tender" of a tender as many other places, and it didn't seem as fresh as it could have been. But it was still darn good and worth future visits for sure.
