Cute ambiance, friendly employees, and the slider I had was very tasty. But the price is high. $7 for a chicken tender is high, even by today's standards. Worst part for me was the wait. I went at 6pm on a Monday and there was no one in line. There was one other person in the dining room waiting for their order. It took 22 minutes exactly to get my food after I ordered. 22 minutes is a long time to wait for 'fast food' or even at a sit down restaurant. Again, food was good, but not sure price and wait time justify the taste.

I order two of the chicken sliders on medium heat, with fries & extra pickles. This combo did not disappoint. The medium heat was surprisingly not hot at all. This establishment wait time during what it seems like a peak hour was less than 15m for my takeout order. The sanitation score was 100 & the cleanliness of the area was well kept. Friendly customers service & the only thing I hope they update since they're located near University is discount offers to University staff and students. I will be back !

The food was better than expected. I had the cauli slider with fries and it was more than enough. I ordered medium heat and it was perfect. Fast food vibes for sure.

10000000000/10. We LOVE Dave's and bring every single newcomer to Charlotte over to the restaurant. We've tried everything on the menu and everything has been beyond amazing every time. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It can get busy as far as seating goes, but there's always a table available somewhere! We love sitting outside when we go.

Amber is a delight! First time here :) she was knowledgeable, kind & super sweet! Keep her around. I got the loaded fries, sooo good. We did the check in for a soft drink, love that. The graffiti art is phenomenal and the music is vibes. Definitely a place worth checking out.

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and was impressed. To be honest I thought it was going to be overrated but it was not bad. The Chicken crispy and very well seasoned. Making the sandwich fabulous especially with the dipping sauce and crisp pickles.

Me and my husband LOVE Dave's!! My husband only eats halal, so how convenient is it that we can get fried chicken sandwiches right in the neighborhood!?! We always get the # 2 (2 sliders and fries) and share it because the sandwiches are so huge. I get the plain sandwich (no sauce, no sauce *beyonce voice*) with cheese and my husband gets the hot chicken sandwich. Dave's Hot Chicken brought the fire with their crunchy chicken sandwich and crispy cut fries. I enjoyed this sandwich (arguably just as much as popular chains like Chick Fil A) but what took the cake was their Dave's sauce for me! The original sandwich comes with onions, pickles and chicken with the option to choose your spice level for the sandwich.
