TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

First time trying and it did not disappoint. I like a little spice so I tried the mild and there wasn't any heat or kick to it. I would definitely recommend stepping up the heat level if you are wanting even a little but. Amaya was a cashier and she was awesome. Very attentive, kind, outgoing and bubbly. She went out of her way to ensure we were taken care and our needs were met. There was another young lady and she was also great. I will definitely be back! Thank you!
I made my first visit to Dave’s Hot Chicken on Friday, March 15, 2025 late at night. The young guy behind the counter waited on me. Did a great job. He was a sturdy built young kid with glasses. There was nobody behind me in line so he signed me up on the app, which got me a free drink with my food . I am pretty much iPhone illiterate, so I don’t think I could’ve done this on my own. A mixed bag the food is good. The price is a little high. The remodel of the building looks terrific. The menu is simple, but the service really is going to depend on the employees my first visit. It took 14 minutes to get one mail through the drive-through when there was nobody in front of me or behind me, the employee just moved slow. I’ve given Dave’s Hot Chicken multiple chances, but this last visit was the final straw. The workers consistently have terrible attitudes, acting like customers are an inconvenience. To make matters worse, I found a long piece of hair in my food — not the first time this has happened. It’s beyond disgusting and unacceptable. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Delicious! Food came out very fast for made to order. It was presented very well, server and cashier were very friendly. Would recommend !
