TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This was my first time eating Dave's Hot Chicken and let's just say it's going to be my only chicken spot from now on. The food was hot and delicious. Served to perfection! The store was clean, especially the bathrooms! Their employee Andrea was super helpful, extremely nice, and her positive attitude (they were pretty busy when I went in) made me a customer for life. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!
Mid at best. Idk what all the hype was about lol. Chicken quality taste like gas station chicken and the hot was less spicy than a mc chicken from McDonald's. For the same price go to Angry Chickz. Way better quality chicken, way spicier too lol. Even the reaper from Dave's was disappointing.
Isaiah was phenomenal and the food was great. The ambiance is as good as always and the service has only gotten better since the last time I've visited this location.
With so many "Hot Chicken" type of places opening around, which one do you go to? Well, I've tried quite a bit, and I really like Dave's Hot Chicken. There is plenty of parking, and lots of seating inside. Every time I come here, they are pretty busy. It's clean, which is nice haha. The workers are very friendly. Good food, love the spice levels. The fries are bomb. Fast drive through, nice guy at the window. Eat it in the car so it's fresh and hot. Solid pick.
They're very friendly, helpful and kind! The food is always amazing as well, and the lines aren't too long. A great place to eat at :)
We love Dave's hot chicken! The vibe is amazing. The fries are so perfect and the chicken is so flavorful, crispy and juicy. Eva and Isaiah were so kind and helpful. A true asset to the Dave's team! We will come whenever we can, and we recommend it to anyone anywhere!
Service here are amazing. Person at cashier is very patient and nice. She was kind enough some extra sauce without charging extra. Recommend their bites and shakes
