TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I usually go to the Folsom and Sacramento location but decided to check out this one. Surprisingly every single location is super consistent and customer service is great. Fair Oaks was no different and the food was really tasty and the people were super chill. I always get the Extra Hot sliders with cheese and cheese fries and it hits every time. Food is always super good. Daves hot chicken is the best hot chicken in sac I feel. And good portions as well. Clean bathrooms and eating areas here. Thank you to meadow and chas for the super friendly customer expierence as well. I will be coming back to this location for sure!

I come here every time I visit my grandparents. Dave's has become quite the "go-to" for us all. I genuinely love the food and the people I've met working there. I live out of state and can only come every so often, and I always look forward to pulling up, placing my order, and enjoying some delish food with my family. To some it may seem small or insignificant, but my grandparents are my world and even though it may seem silly, memories have been made enjoying some darn good chicken sandwiches. Daves, I love your food, but your service is not the best. We have to speed it up, being in the line for almost 30 minutes aint good.
