TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This place was a big let down. The food was very expensive and we were left hungry. The spiciness was great but everything else was mediocre. The employees had an attitude that spelled out I hate working here. Not only that but the inside of the "restaurant" was just bad taste street art on top of real art. Looked ghetto. Not coming back here ever.
I love Dave's! My husband and I had been on a hot chicken sandwich kick for months, and when we checked out Dave's we were not disappointed. We try to go to a new restaurant every weekend, but we just keep going back to Dave's. Family visiting? Dave's. Friends in town? Dave's. The chicken is so juicy and tender. It's my second time eating here. The first time, I wasn't asked to tip, and everything worked out fine. The second that I came back months later, which was today, the tip prompt came up. I ended up only tipping 15%. I ordered on slider, no drink, I have water at work. When it's time to pickup my order the cashier who took my order had an uneasy look and shifty body language. I'm a massive fan of Dave's! I've been to the Vegas store and just recently, the store in Washington. The building interior is very unique and decorated really well! The staff here were super friendly and best of all the food is amazing just as I remembered. The food isn't hot for heats sake, but the heat actually tastes good! I wish they had Dave's in the UK!
Absolutely love visiting Dave's whenever I'm near one. This one here in DC did not disappoint. Especially loving the decor, this place looks awesome!!
