TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Great sandwiches, chicken tenders and milkshakes. Also the spice leves is where it's at!
Delicious and the fact that you can choose the level of spicy you want your chicken it's just perfect and Dave's sauce it's omg
My son has been telling me about this spot for a long time. So I surprised him with lunch for his birthday. The service here was great and the staff were friendly. I didn't expect for the inside to be so big. Beware that parking is hard to find. The price was great for the amount of food you get. I got my son the slider mild with fries. I tried the fries and they were good. My son said the chicken sandwich was a little too salt for him. He did say he would go back. I would try a sandwich next time too.
I am a frequent patron of chicken spots; however, one thing that sets the DC location of Dave's Hot Chicken apart is the incredible class the staff have in serving their guests. In particular, we had the pleasure of being served by Janiyah, who had such a great smile as she assisted my family and me after a long protest in the city. I never thought I'd have to up my manners in a chicken spot like Dave's, but the staff here are showing me different! Keep it up!
The chicken was great with lots of flavor. The Spicy chicken was very flavorful and tasty. The fries were delicious with great church and flavor aswell.
one of my favorite chicken chain restaurant. the chicken came out super hot and juicy. got the spicy level and it had good heat. went for lunch during a weekday and there was no line. the inside is pretty spacious as well.
Not for me; the dry rub doesn't offer any flavor to the chicken itself for me. Fries are tasty but I prefer other chicken spots in the area. Kids prefer Canes.
We Love this new spot! The chicken is spicy, portions are very filling and the service is pleasant. We met Mr. Anthony on our first visit, their grand opening day and he explained the spice levels and suggestions for where to start with according to what we were use to. The prices are reasonable, there's seating inside and outside, and plenty of parking. I highly recommend giving them try for a great foodie venture try out night!
Wifey suggested we hit this spot after church. Wasn't a bad idea but we made a rookie mistake by get wrong spice level. We thought we could handle the regular hot level, it was just one step above medium. Unfortunately, we sadly were wrong. Nevertheless, I believe Victor was a manager who made our wrong right. I explained to him we thought we could handle the that level but we mis gauged it. He kindly offered us the opportunity to swap our sliders and tenders out for the mild sauce.
