TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I went here yesterday and was very impressed! I've actually eaten at the Orlando location before so i knew what to expect but I think I prefer this location more. The food was hotter and tasted better to me. There was a bit of a wait and the parking was pretty much full, so keep that in mind if you visit during a high peak day or time. Brand new and it is so good. Duke put me on to putting honey on the hot chicken and that was amazing. Duke was amazing and he will ask you questions and actually cares about your experience eating. When he suggested the Honey and told me to come back if I didn't like it. (Loved it) This restaurant is going to be very successful.
First off, the environment is so energetic and amazing. The vibe us spot on. The food is 10 stars, the best chicken I've probably ever had. The spice level was fantastic, we tried the medium, hot and reaper and they all were perfect. The service was amazing as well. I can't say enough positive things about Dave's. I 100% will be coming back and bringing everyone who loves chicken with me!!! Well done Dave's Hot Chicken.
Awesome place. Staff is wonderful and love the graphics and atmosphere. Very cool and fun. Food is really good too!
Recently visited Dave's for the first time and not impressed with some trash that was overloaded , tissues on bathroom floor. Chicken was tasty but at these prices I'd expect more cleanliness from the staff.
Chicken was moist, but very bland. I ordered the mild with fries. Fries were very salty with a not so yummy seasoning. The sauce was also bland. Dave's Sauce. Not a fan. Zaxby's and Culver's are still ahead in flavor.
0 starts if I could. Rude lady at front. Get better employees. Good is good, but not worth interacting with these workers.
The food was alright. I wasn't anything I'd go back for. The sauce was good but the fries were too salty. Too much seasoning. The service was good. The ambiance was fun but not worth the price of the chicken.
I had heard a lot of hype for Dave's hot chicken, so I was super excited to go, but was a little disappointed. The flavor of the chicken is just the spice, and it was super super greasy. The "toast" was also terrible. It was literally a cheap piece of white bread, and it wasn't even toasted. Other than that the sauce and fries are really good.
